General Sam's: Park Information

General Sam's Offroad Park is located just nine miles north of historic Huntsville,
Texas and consists of 705 acres of beautiful piney woods forests, six flowing spring fed creeks and over 60+ miles
of offroad riding trails for A.T.V's, trucks, jeeps and other offroad vehicles!
We invite you and your friends and family to come to General Sam's and enjoy yourselves, we are open every weekend!

We are open every week from Tuesday - Sunday.

Park Fees
$20.00 per day for each atv/orv. This fee includes one driver.
$5.00 per day for each additional rider
All Weekend Special!
$45.00 for an all weekend pass from Friday open till close Sunday for each atv/orv. This fee includes one driver.
$5.00 per day for each additional rider. Primitive camping is included free of charge!

Camping
In the front of the park we have 10 acres designated for camping and other activites with thirteen deluxe camp
sites that are equipped with electrical hookups. Deluxe RV sites which includes water & electricity are $30.00
ea. per night are by reservation only with credit card. Visit our online reservation center to make your reservations now or you can make reservations by telephone by calling: (832)495--1046.
Approximately nine acres of this is for primitive camp setup or as it is traditionally know... "roughing it"
but don't be skeer'd though... we fixed it up some!
Primitive Camping
Camping sites without water and electricity are still available for both tent and RV camping. If you would like,
bring your generator along.
- Primitive Camping for 1 to 5 people - only $5 per
night!
- More than 5 people - an extra $1 per night each.
- Children under 10 and dogs - FREE!!!

Sam's Party Pavilion
We have a large covered concrete pavilion that is 40' x 80' near the main gate and it is just perfect for having special
parties or receptions. We do rent it out, Click here for

General Sam's Competition Area
West of our main camping area General Sam's has a first class ATV competition area that includes mud drags, sand
drags, and a huge mud bog.
You can find more information on upcoming competitions by checking our events page and also in the forums area or, sign up for General Sam's Free Newsletter and we will keep you posted on all the cool happenings
we have going on all the time around here.

And Also
General Sams also has several other helpful amenities that are readily available at your disposal. Useful things
like:
- A free park property map that you can download here that shows you where everything is located at General Sam's, or, you can always pick up a
copy when you stop at the front gate. (To download the map, right click on the link and select "Save Target
As")
- We have a wash down area so you can get the mud off
whenever you want. (Off your machines...or off yourself!) We ask that you just get the big stuff off though and save the detailing for later.
- We have a handy air compressor so you can keep air
in that tire with the slow leak... or maybe blow up your air matress... or your baby's birthday balloons... or...
well, you get the idea.
- We also have conviently located restrooms & showers
on-site that are located at the front of the campsite area. These restrooms also include full stall showers. (We
do ask that you take a shower just long enough to rinse off and get clean. We have a pump that can only pump so
much water a minute.) PS: please try to be courteous if you should find yourself out on the trails and suddenly
needing to "mark a tree", as to not offend other visitors and end up wanted for Public Indecency... so
please.... take care to get well off the trail to take care of any "business" you might have and as always...
don't litter.)
